Condition Description & Other Information ## I cannot emphasise how important Vera Lynn was to England during WWII... Being the Son & Grandson of two men, one in WWI, & Dad in WWII I was brought up with tales of this lady performing to troops without fear & blasting away Dad's favourite "There'll Always Be An England"!!!!!!! I have researched this on line quite extensively & cannot find this album signed by Vera anywhere. One can find signed photos, & some much later CD's & a couple of Records. Whichever Australian got in front of Vera Lynn & asked her to sign this "Hits Of The Blitz" was a genius... they recorded for all time Vera Lynn sitting on London's rubble with her proud signature. (Dad & Grandad lost both their Bed & Breakfast Hotels in Kensington London in separate V1 & V2 attacks... thankfully, for me, they weren't killed!) ##  The Vinyl is described as Excellent & was fully play-tested playing wonderfully, average to below average background & no skips or stops. Very few signs of play. Maybe1 or 2 extremely fine hairlines and/or sleeve marks. Several spindle marks to both labels. There are a reasonable number of fine hairlines & sleeve marks to both sides of the record. The Vinyl has retained much of its rich waxy lustre. The Cover is described as Excellent & has been signed 'Yours Vera Lynn'. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. There are some colour losses to edges & spine. There are some very minor areas of foxing to front & verso. No seam splits. Please see attached photos...
