Here is another item from my Fugazi/Dischord/related collection, and one which I have owened from new, so you can be sure that it has been well looked after and not been passed from collector to collector over the years. This is the 1985 reissue of the  iconic Dischord "Flex Your Head" compilation LP, which was originally released in 1982 with the 'violin' cover (I also have a copy of the original listed on ebay at the time of writing). This one features the 'blurry photo' sleeve design and includes no less than 32-tracks recorded between April 1980 and Christmas 1981- this is a 'must have' for any hardcore/punk/straight edge or Dischord collector. Includes tracks by Teen Idles (pre Minor Threat), Untouchables, State Of Alert, Minor Threat, Government Issue, Youth Brigade, Red C, Void, Iron Cross, Artificial Peace and Deadline. Also comes with original foldout 21.5" x 19" poster, which shows a collage of all the inserts that were included with the original release. Note that this version has 'Made In France' to sleeve rear but not to the labels and also has '$6.00 postpaid' to sleeve rear. According to other sites, despite being made in France, this was a USA issue - I would think it was manufactured for the US, UK and EU markets. 

CONDITION - as stated above, I have owned this from 'new' and the sleeve is in EX+ condition - there is just the merest hint of storage outer rim record-shaped impression by the top only (VERY minor). To botton left area is a small, minor horizonatal line/score mark and by the bottom seam a couple of 'spots' - please see pictures above. Again very minor and note that this has been there since new. The record is likely unplayed or, if it has been played, it was once only. There are a few VERY light storage hairlines here and there on Side 1, when viewed under a bright halogen bulb but again, very minor indeed and the vinyl is close to 'as new'. The fold-out poster is also 'as new' and has never been out of the sleeve.

VINYL GRADING

NEW: note that still sealed items will be presumed to be in 'new' condition, but are obviously sold as seen. Any visible signs of wear/storage etc. beneath the shrinkwrap will be mentioned.

MINT: note please note that I will NEVER use the 'MINT' grade, as I think you are asking for trouble! The highest grade for an item that is not new will use will be NM (Near Mint).

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in very close to 'as new' condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in almost perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played a number of times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and maybe some occasional light scratches. If there is any surface noise it will be occasional, light and unobtrusive. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has obviously been played a lot and while it still plays through OK, it will have a lot of surface marks and/or light scratches (maybe also the occasional 'feelable' scratch) and most likely there there will be regular and noticeable surface noise. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine and/or seam splits, discoloration, etc.

*Important* - the ONLY countries I will send to by uninsured mail are as follows: - 

UK. Europe (EU countries ONLY and Norway). USA and Canada. Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

If you live anywhere else then your parcel MUST be insured, the cost of which is to be covered by the buyer. Very sorry, but NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.

If you live in a country that I am prepared to send by regular, uninsured mail please bear in mind that I always get a receipt and proof of posting for every item sent, but THERE WILL NOT BE A TRACKING NUMBER UNLESS YOU HAVE PAID FOR INSURED/TRACKED MAIL. Should an item take longer than expected to arrive, I will do everything I can to help, but please don't assume that there is a tracking number! Most overseas buyers seem to assume this, for some reason! If you want the item to be tracked, please choose the 'International Signed For' option at checkout - thanks!

Finally, please note that if your item (or if the combined values of the items in a single parcel) is £20.00 or above, then insurance is compulsory wherever you live. This is an extra £1.10 for 'Signed For' in the UK (up to the value of £50, after which extra cover will need to be paid for by the buyer) or an extra £5.30 for overseas buyers to cover 'International Signed For'.
