Like a few other records pressed by A&M Records around this time [1983-1984] in the first pressings and therefore including promo pressing (which are part of the 1st presses) there was some number of them that were made on the Quiexx Audiophile vinyl. When held to light they display as purple, but you wouldn't think they were purple if you didn't hold them up to the light. This is a great record and it's that much nicer to hear it in a bit higher fidelity/quiet vinyl.
Trivia note:
There is a promo 12" for "You Can't Get What You Want...." that we also recommend for the superior dynamic range on those big 12" grooves. If you ever see it for cheap. grab it and check it out. it's worth the 5 bucks you usually find it if you are a fan of that song.
