Condition Description & Other Information: ## No copies of this release are available on either Discogs, or eBay, Worldwide!! ##
## Vinyl records pressed in Lebanon are extremely rare and are very hard to find in any condition. Produced for a few years in the late 1960's, until forced to stop at the onset of civil war in 1975. All Western modern popular music was in high demand in Lebanon as it was worldwide...... sadly, however, minimal copies of releases between 1965 to 1975 still exist today. Copies of  the 1970 release 'Led Zep III' album, Lebanon 1st.Pressing, with its Black Atlantic Labels are massively rare, and have sadly become nigh-on impossible to find anywhere.  There are 3 Lebanese Black Label versions: a Color-splatter version, a Black Vinyl version and this copy also on Black Vinyl which believe it or not, is a much rarer version again, and is referred to as the "Lebanese 1st. Press LABEL VARIATION Pressing". This label differs from the other Black Vinyl version but is exactly the same as the Color-splatter version. It was released on the same day (5th October 1970) & makes it many times rarer than its non-identical twin born on the same day. This is born-out by the fact that it remains the only one of the three to have never surfaced for sale anywhere in the world on either eBay or Discogs. A few coloured Vinyl's been auctioned over the years & the only one available on Discogs and eBay worldwide is available for purchase at just over AUD$25,000.00. The other Black Label vinyl copies have surfaced maybe 5 or 6 times between eBay & Discogs but none are available currently & I believe the last copy ever sold was in 2017. Now, with regards to our Label Variant Copy Black Label Black Vinyl it appears that a copy has never been sold through eBay or Discogs & I think the experts didn't expect that to change... they are about to re-assess that view I hope. All three releases were sold with British Gatefold Covers for reasons of cost and also due to the manufacturing limitations as a result of the ongoing war between Lebanon, Palestine & Israel. All 'Led Zep III' Covers used in Lebanon in 1970 were printed in England, by the E.J Day group London and Bedford. .... No other releases have ever been produced in Lebanon!!!!! ####
The Vinyl is described as Excellent & was fully play-tested playing magnificently well, average background & no skips or stops. Several spindle marks to both labels. There are a reasonable number of fine hairlines & barely visible sleeve marks to both sides of the record. The Vinyl has retained much of its rich waxy lustre.
The Gatefold Cover is laminated & described as Excellent. The internal spinning wheel is perfect. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. There are some colour losses to edges & spine. There are some extremely minor areas of foxing to front & verso. No seam splits.
