This is the original deep-groove stereo pressing of Charles Mingus “Ah Um” on Columbia CS 8171. The playing surface is MINT, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The cover is in excellent condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout; 1” bump at the lower left corner; 2” crease along the bottom edge of the right corner. Columbia inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Booker Ervin, John Handy, Jimmy Knepper, Horace Parlan, and Dannie Richmond.
