RARE vinyl RETURN TO OZ soundtrack LP David Shire/Fairuza Balk/Piper Laurie OST
Rare OOP copy of the soundtrack LP from the 1985 cult film Return to Oz starring Fairuza Balk as Dorothy and Piper Laurie as Aunt Em. David Shire composed the beautiful score for this unusual Disney sequel that apparently frightened young viewers and therefore bombed domestically. Over the years this Walter March directed film has attracted many ardent admirers. The vinyl was released on the Sonic Atmospheres label with the score performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. Difficult to find and this copy is I in Very Good condition (both vinyl and album packaging). The vinyl has a few stray marks that do not affect playback.
