Clifford Brown on Prestige 7055
This is the original RVG-etched deep groove pressing of Clifford Brown “Memorial Album” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7055. The playing surface is as new, with a high luster on Side 1 and less of a luster on Side 2; perhaps played once, if at all. The laminated West 50th St. cover is clean and bright throughout; the back slick is stamped “Not for Sale” at the top; ¾” wear on the top seam, at the spine; 1” wear at the top of the spine; ½” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening. Original glassine sleeve is included. Personnel include Art Farmer, Gigi Gryce, Benny Golson, Tadd Dameron, and Philly Joe Jones.
