Factory sealed 2000 Experience Hendrix / MCA Records "The Jimi Hendrix Experience" 33 RPM 8 LP Box Set. This is the only set that has the original purple paisley felt-textured box.
This album set was remastered by Experience Hendrix / MCA from the original master tapes for the ultimate sound quality experience. Issued on 180 gram vinyl records with a limited pressing of 5000 copies, box set features previously unavailable concert and studio recordings which span Hendrix's four-year career from 1966-1970 recordings. Also includes a 40-page full color book, and separate album jackets for each LP inside.
This long out of print box set is a must have for any Jimi Hendrix fan. There are no cutout marks or seam splits on the box set. The shrink wrap is completely intact, but is a little loose on the back. There are no tears on the shrink wrap. This album set has become quite a rare collectible. Please excuse the light reflection in the pictures.
**Please note that there was a second reissue of this album set released in 2017 that was numbered and limited to 5000 copies. This reissue does not have the purple velvet textured felt box that the 2000 issue has.
