Up for auction is a unique Beatles 45 of their SOUVENIR OF THEIR VISIT TO AMERICA. Contained is 4 songs, Misery, Taste of Honey, Ask Me Why and Anna. The album cover is made like that of a 12" with cardboard, instead of thin paper. The record is by Vee-Jay Records and the model being VJEP 1-903. The jacket cover is good condition.
This record was sent to the US by a "Pen Pal" in the UK. It wasn't available in the US as far as I know.
Side 1 says 64-3915 and GIL Music Corp. BMI along with Geo. Paxton Corp. ASCAP. It contains Misery and Taste of Honey. Side 2 has 64-3916 with Concertone Songs ASCAP and Hollis Music BMI. It contains Ask Me Why and Anna. Both sides has VJ VEE-JAY RECORDS WITH VJ EP 1-903. The colors are excellent and the wear is minimum. This is a very unique record and record jacket
I don't have a turntable any more to be able to report how it plays Seems to be a mark on MIsery, no other marks or smudges that I can see.
