So before the Sex Pistols released their one real album, the Dictators had already released two....their first came out before the Ramones even. So they really had no models, except the Dolls and their own culture of greasy American food, cars, and girls who were out of their reach. Let's start a band!
By the second album (the one that's right here, a button-click away from your ears) they had raised their sights, and seem to have decided to become the greatest (proto)metal stadium act of all time. But they also refused to relinquish their dedication to comedy music and dopey skits. This album represents the collision between bombast and an utter lack of seriousness. In other words, it's a record that can't exist, but here it is.

This particular copy has gorgeous vinyl, Near Mint if there ever was one, and NM- on the jacket since it has two wrinkles on the back but is otherwise fresh. The original lyric sheet is also here, so you can study closely the works of these very great poets of the last century.
