This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P” pressing of J.J. Johnson “The Eminent, Vol. 1” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1505. The flat rim playing surface is in unblemished near-new condition; perhaps played once. The coated frame Lexington Ave. cover is in excellent condition – clean and bright throughout; the back slick has small writing next to the song titles and at the bottom right corner, and the top edge shows some wear. Personnel include Clifford Brown, Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, Charles Mingus, and Kenny Clarke. $200.00
