After a lifetime of collecting vinyl I am now downsizing radically. All albums are mine, most in excellent condition and played on high quality equipment.
I've had several copies of Rumours down the years. This is the original, bought virtually as it was released in 1977. It is a rare first copy. Not only does it have A1 B1 matrixes on K 56344, and darker WB Burbank labels than later pressings, it came in a textured single outer sleeve, rather than the Gatefold sleeves that came later. There was an insert the inside pages of which became the inside images and lyrics of the Gatefold sleeve. The other side of the insert was pictures of the band, lost to later copies. This also has some memorabilia from 1977 included. The sleeve is VVG, with good spine, mild wear to corners, no splits, one area of scars (see photo) no tears. The record looks great, with a couple of superficial marks, but on my system now it doesn't play very well (valve amp, MC cartridge, Sondek etc) and there are crackles along the way. Which is probably why I've not played it for years, having bought a newer but better copy for play. Nevertheless, for collector's wanting one of the first handful of thousands of this classic album in the UK, here is one.
