This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Hank Mobley “Quintet” on the New York 23 labels of Blue Note BLP 1550. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition with a beautiful luster; perhaps played once; inaudible light inner sleeve imprinting on both sides. The laminated West 63rd cover is in excellent condition, clean throughout with normal age toning on the back slick; 3/8” split on the bottom seam, at the opening; several small superficial lamination chips at the top of the spine. Personnel include Art Farmer, Horace Silver, Doug Watkins, and Art Blakey. $1000.00
