Very nice original copy of the classic Getz/Gilberto LP on Verve mono V-8545. This was the album that introduced the world to Astrud Gilberto and The Girl from Ipanema. The disc has some superficial sleeve scuffing on side one, which is quite visible but doesn’t affect the play at all. It plays perfectly. Side two is NM and also plays gloriously flawlessly. Really a beautiful sounding copy, despite the scuffs on side one. Entirely superficial. The cover is unusually clean, with only a bit of corner wear, mainly at the lower left, some light edgewear and just slight signs of gentle use. Most original copies are way more worn than this with open seam splits and worse. And most original discs have noise that ruins the gentle music. This is truly a lovely original copy that sounds beautiful.
