FEATURED LP
The Roy Haynes Trio - Just Us (Original 12-inch, Deep Groove MONO Pressing).
Prestige New Jazz NJLP 8245 - (R.V.G etched in dead wax.)
VINYL GRADE (see grading scale below)LP is in (NM/EX+) condition.
The thick, lustrous vinyl appears to have been seldom played
The fidelity is superb, with no distortion, pops, or clicks. There are a few tiny needle digs on side one that do not sound.
However there are occasional light back ground low level tics. Overall this is a fantastic copy and the fidelity is superb!
Original, purple Bergenfield N.J. label on Side B has some overprint ink in the address as seen in photo.
JACKET GRADE (see grading scale below)Jacket is in (EX+) condition.
Original heavy jacket is in (EX+) condition with only a hint of wear on the corners and a touch of color rub.
The back slick is reasonably clean and mark free except for a review copy stamp and some light water stains on the bottom of the jacket as all seen in the photos.
PRESSING AND COMMENTSOriginal 12-inch MONO LP with Deep Grove, Purple Bergenfield N.J. labels & RV.G. stamped in the dead wax.
From the personal collection of the original owner of Contemporary Records . Most likely rarely played.
GRADING INFORMATIONRecord Grading Codes
N/N- = Virtually flawless in all aspects, with original sound fidelity. Record appears unplayed.
NM = Near Mint. Exceptional condition and sound fidelity, with minor (if any) visible signs of use.
EX+ = Excellent Plus. Near new label and jacket appearance, showing careful usage. Topical surface marks may exist, such as paper sleeve marks, and other signs of incidental handling that will not cause intrusively audible surface noise. Audio quality far outweighs any marginal appearance flaws.
EX = Excellent Condition. Appearance shows moderate use, but a good degree of enjoyable play is available; the record shows reasonable care in handling. Audio is only lightly affected by intermittent surface noise, and music retains its full spectrum of fidelity, with no mistracking. What we call a listener's copy.
Jacket Grading Codes
NM- = A record jacket showing little or no wear, with no marks on front or back. Seams, spines, corners are not worn to any degree. Lamination completely intact.
EX+ = A record jacket that shows only light and topical wear, typically acquired during years of normal careful storage and usage. Reasonably fine appearance can be expected, with no repairs or seam and edge damage.
EX = A record jacket that has acquired a little more shelf and storage wear, still retaining its original structural integrity. Small seam split repairs, light corner and edge wear likely.
Note: + or - may be used to indicate slight variations in quality within each rating.
Record jackets are equal to disc condition with exceptions noted. All efforts are made to accurately denote record and jacket conditions. Records are graded aurally and visually and are professional cleaned when needed, but above all are guaranteed to conform to the grade assigned.
Highly important to us is careful packing for safe delivery. We use double strength record cartons. All records are professionally cleaned and delivered in archival quality plastic sleeves, with records separated from jackets, thus protecting the jackets from splitting during shipment.

OUR MISSIONWe Deliver Quality!
Our experience as devotees of the music means reliability to you, the collector. Each record is fully described and carefully evaluated with grading, pressing and discographical comments.
In our more than four decades of operation, we have sold over a one hundred thousand jazz LPs to collectors around the world. That may be an immeasurably small portion of all the LPs produced since 1950, but then it is our business to be selective, and our client base of collectors from all over the world can attest that we are eminently reliable when searching for both the truly archival and discs that, while displaying some use, remain valuable and highly enjoyable. After 45 years in this venue, I have decide to sell many of my finest and desirable copies collected over the years. If you're interested in these stunning copies, stay tuned.
With the music in mind,
Music Matters Jazz
