This is the original RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Jackie McLean “A Fickle Sonance” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4089. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; however, there is a tiny pressing bubble on the first track of Side 2 that creates seven tics during McLean’s solo (his aggressive playing nearly masks the tics); light inaudible storage splotching on the first track of each side. The laminated New York 23 cover is in virtually new condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout – with sharp corners and unworn seams; slight superficial 1 ¼” crease on the bottom right corner; light ¾” ding at the top right corner; “Review Copy” stamped at the top of the back slick. Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Tommy Turrentine, Sonny Clark, Butch Warren, and Billy Higgins. $250.00
