VERY NICE BOX AND LPs, BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE ORIGINAL FACSIMILE BOOK THAT WAS PART OF THIS 1960 RELEASE WAS NOT PRESENT - INSTEAD THE PREVIOUS OWNER SUBSTITUTED A MODERN FACSIMILE THAT WAS PRODUCED BY AVENEL BOOKS.
This is the 1960 release, read and sung by Cyril Ritchard, original musical score by Alec Wilder played by the New York Woodwind Quintet. The box is VERY SOLID, with light corner wear, no edge wear, looks like a small bit of tape residue top box left near the top. The LPs LOOK GREAT with no scratches seen on pristine vinyl, will grade NM. The brown book is faux leather published by Avenel Books. There is no date of publication but I have seen similar ones published in the 1970s. It is also PRISTINE with no use or wear, but as noted, it is unfortunately not the red cloth original facsimile that was part of this 1960 set.
