This is the original deep groove RVG-etched pressing of Gil Melle “Primitive Modern” on the West 50th St. label of Prestige PRLP 7040. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated West 50th St. cover is also in excellent condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout; the bottom seam has 1” split/wear at the opening, ¼” wear at the spine, and small lamination flakes; store sticker at the upper right corner of the back slick. Original glassine inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Joe Cinderella, Billy Phillips, and Ed Thigpen. $150.00.
