This is the original deep groove stereo pressing of Charles Mingus “Mingus” on Candid CJS 9021. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster; perhaps played once, if at all. The matte textured cover is also in exceptional condition – clean and bright throughout – with sharp corners and unworn seam; 2” superficial crease at the lower right corner. Personnel include Eric Dolphy, Charles McPherson, Ted Curson, Lonnie Hillyer, Paul Bley, and Dannie Richmond. $100.00.
