This is the original pressing of Bill Hardman “Quintet” on the maroon and silver labels of Savoy MG 12170. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once; scrape around the spindle hole of the Side B label. The coated frame cover, with artwork by “Harvey”, is in exceptional condition – bright, clean, and immaculate in every respect – with sharp corners and unworn seams; 1” superficial crease at the lower right corner of the front slick. Personnel include Sonny Red, Ronnie Mathews, Doug Watkins, and Jimmy Cobb. $400.00.
