This is the Van Gelder-stamped deep groove (Side 1) pressing of Roy Haynes “Cracklin’” on the purple and silver labels of New Jazz NJLP 8266. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster; superficial inaudible swirling from a previous replacement inner sleeve; a few random tics, typical of this pressing. The laminated cover is in near-new condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout – with light age-toning on the right edge of the back slick and very slight wear at the top right corner. Personnel include Booker Ervin, Ronnie Mathews, and Larry Ridley. $300.00.
