This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Joe Henderson “Mode for Joe” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4227. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated N.Y. 10023 cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout – with superficial creases at the top left and bottom right corners. Illustrated Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Lee Morgan, Curtis Fuller, Bobby Hutcherson, Cedar Walton, Ron Carter, and Joe Chambers. $400.00.
