This promo 45 features "1A 2" stamped in the runout of each side. To my knowledge there are three cuts of this release: 1A, 2B & 3C. Columbia records used numbers to differentiate the tape that was used and letters for each successive cut of that tape. The subsequent "2" in the runout represents the stamper number and I have yet to see a "1A 1" pressing.
Each cut should sound different to an extent and upon testing "Lay My Head On Your Shoulder" plays with a couple faint "ticks" around 1:59. The video uploaded to the "Bill Robinson & The Quails - Topic" page on Youtube shares the same couple ticks so it could be a characteristic of all first-cut pressings. Full audio of this 45 for sale has been uploaded to Youtube for comparison.

Grading Guide

Mint / Sealed (M): Jacket sealed in original factory shrink. Media has not been played.
Near Mint (NM): A near perfect record. Jacket and media have little to no wear. Highest grade for used records.
Excellent (EX): Also known as VG++, jacket and media may have a couple visible imperfections (i.e. paper scuffs, light cosmetic wear, bumped record jacket corners). 
Very Good Plus (VG+): Jacket and media show some signs of light wear, including scuffs, light scratches, small seam splits, and slight warps that do not affect playback quality.
Very Good (VG): Jacket and media will show signs of use and wear throughout. Jacket may have ring-wear, seam splits, bumped corners while the record will have light scratches throughout, with some being more noticeable. Usually the lowest grade I will feel comfortable selling.
