This is the original deep groove pressing of Charlie Parker “The Magnificent” on the coated labels of Clef MGC-646. Other than a few light inaudible scuffs on Side B the playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated frame Davis Stone Martin cover is also in extraordinary condition – amazingly clean and bright throughout; ½” x ¾” adhesive residue on the right side of the back slick; 1/8” wear at the bottom right corner. Personnel include Miles Davis, Hal McKusick, Red Rodney, Walter Bishop, Charles Mingus, and Max Roach. $150.00.
