Background / History ## Spectres is the fifth studio album by American rock band Blue Öyster Cult, released in November 1977 by Columbia Records. The album features one of the band's biggest hits, concert staple "Godzilla," and was certified gold by the RIAA on January 19, 1978. The cover art features lasers, which Blue Öyster Cult used in their live shows at that time. ## 

Condition Report The Vinyl is described as Excellent+ & easily played to that grading today, below average background & no skips or stops. Several spindle marks. There are a reasonable number of extremely fine hairlines & sleeve marks to both sides of the record. The Vinyl has retained nearly all of its rich waxy lustre. The Cover is described as VG+. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. There are some colour losses to edges & spine. Repaired seam split & repaired 2cm cut to open edge front cover with some clear tape to front and colour co-ordinated tape within. Couple of minor stains here & there. Please see attached photos...
