Absolutely beautiful copy of the original 1966 first pressing of the legendary Freak Out double-LP by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, on Verve stereo V6-5005-2X. Original blue labels and the early “Hot Spots” ad in the gatefold. Both discs are just gorgeous and play completely flawlessly and just beautifully all the way through. Side one has a couple of visible superficial marks but they don’t affect the play at all. Not a single pop or tick, or even the slightest crackle at all. The cover has light edgewear and scuffing in spots and light ringwear and cornerwear, but not nearly as much as most original copies. Really quite a good cover, with no seam splits or distracting marks or rips or anything. Really quite a beautiful copy all around. Hard to match.
