Lovely copy of the original 1965 pressing of Cal Tjader’s Soul Bird : Whiffenpoof LP on Verve mono V-8626. Produced by Creed Taylor and engineered and mastered by Rudy Van Gelder, who’s stamp is in the runoffs. The disc is very nearly mint and plays just about flawlessly and truly beautifully. A few very light superficial scuffs, perhaps, but barely. The cover has a bit of light general wear with a couple of nicks on the open edge, some rubbed corners, and light edgewear in spots. Still quite a nice cover with boreal damage. This is truly a lovely original copy, hard to beat.
