This is the Santa Maria USA 1st.Press, for which there is a huge US Discogs waiting list!!! ## The Heart of Saturday Night is the second studio album by singer and songwriter , released on October 15, 1974, on . The title song was written as a tribute to . The album marks the start of a decade-long collaboration between Waits and , who produced and engineered all Waits' recordings until the artist left Asylum.
Condition Report The Vinyl is described as Excellent & played to that during today's play-test, average background no skips or stops. Track B1's rub-in / intro plays with slightly above average background and had a couple of barely audible clicks. Several spindle marks to both labels. There are a reasonable number of extremely fine hairlines & sleeve marks.  The Vinyl has retained nearly all of its rich waxy lustre. The Cover is made from that amazing American thick card and is described as Excellent, especially considering its 50 year vintage. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is ring-wear to front & verso. There are some colour losses to edges & spine. No seam splits.  Please see attached photos...
