This
is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Freddie Hubbard “Blue
Spirits” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4196. Other
than a small inaudible mark between the second and third tracks on Side 2, the
playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster; perhaps
played once. The coated New York 23 cover is in excellent condition
– bright and clean throughout – with three sharp corners and unworn seams;
light rubbing along the top and bottom seams. Blue Note inner sleeve
is included. Personnel include Joe Henderson, James Spaulding,
Harold Mabern, Larry Ridley, and Clifford Jarvis. $400.00
