Beyonce - Beyonce Self-Titled 2014 Vinyl LP Record Official Pressing PLEASE READ


This is a US pressing of Beyonce’s self-titled release. Included are the two LPs, the DVD, and the booklet. There is no download card. I’ve priced it low due to the issues mentioned below. Please read carefully.

Record 1 grade: VG
Record 2 grade: G+

I gave it an overall grade of G+ due to the issues with the 4th side.  It’s still a very enjoyable listen, but definitely not a perfect copy.

Sleeve grade: VG+


Sides 1 and 2 play fine with light surface noise mainly audible during quieter passages and between tracks. A visual inspection shows a few very light marks and some light sleeve wear and a slightly raised light mark on the second track that ticks lightly about 20 times.

Side 3 has a small fleck in the vinyl (a small raised mark that happened during the manufacturing process) on the song “Haunted.” It plays through without skipping but it does tick about 18 times.

Side 4 plays with a bed of steady surface noise, possibly a manufacturing defect. The music comes through loud and clear but it’s over a bed of steady crackle. None of the other sides sound like this.

The sleeve shows light wear. There’s light scuffing visible on the black cover and some light corner wear. There’s also light creasing along edges and corners and a small scuff toward the top of the spine. The booklet is in great shape and doesn’t look like it’s been opened much. Same goes for the DVD which may not have ever been played. The custom inner sleeves have some seam splits but they don’t look too bad. Please review pictures carefully.

I grade LPs based on a conservative interpretation of the Goldmine standard. This means that a VG+ record is in very nice shape and should have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. A record with sustained surface noise will be at best a VG. All records are play-graded since not all surface noise can be detected visually. All records are shipped in new Whiplash mailers with cardboard backing with the sleeved record outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits.

NM: Surfaces essentially look new. This is the highest rating I give used records.
VG+: Very nice shape. May have a few stray very light hairlines and/or light paper scuffs visible under bright light. Will have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. No feelable marks.
VG: Has hairlines and/or paper scuffs and has audible surface noise particularly between songs and during quieter passages.
G+: Has more pronounced hairlines and paper scuffs and may have a few small feelable marks, but still no skips.
