FIRSTLY WHAT MAKES THIS A 1ST PRESS ISSUE ??
Band members are not listed on the inside cover. It only says "Words and Music - Roger Waters." John McClure is listed under "Other Engineers."  A brick wall. The Wall is cream colored, not true white. The bricks on the front cover are not aligned right to the bottom of the cover, and also has title insert on the front.

The credits on the inside cover do not list the members of Pink Floyd. The cover is made of two sheets of cardboard, with seams at the top and bottom of the cover. Cardboard is heavy thickness.  Brick wall. Heavy cardboard inner sleeves with rounded corners and a nine-inch thumb notch at the top of sides 2 and 4. Sides 2 and 4 have the catalog number (SHDW 411), pressing number (OC-158 63410 / 411), and the record number (SHSP 4111 / 12) in the lower right corner.

Matrix :: A-2U TML-X / B-3U TML-X / A-3U TML-X / B-3U TML-X . The earliest 1st press issue matrix started with A-1U and only found on two of the earliest 1st pressings. WITH BOTH OPENING EDGES STILL SHARP, AND INSIDE THE GATEFOLD IN  GREAT CONDITION, I WOULD GRADE A VERY STRONG  :: EX .
VINYLS ::  NOW THE GREAT NEWS IS, THEY PLAY SUPERB, AND AS THERE ARE LOTS OF QUIETER SECTIONS, ANY UNWANTED AUDIO ISSUES WOULD SPOIL THE AUDIO, SO YOU WILL BE HAPPY TO KNOW, THEY PLAY BEAUTIFUL ! ALL I HEARD WAS .... JUST CRYSTAL CLEAR AUDIO FROM START TO FINISH, SO UNLESS YOU HAVE A MINT UNPLAYED PAIR OF VINYLS, THEN YOU WILL NOT FIND BETTER !!!! VISUALLY, AWAY FROM BRIGHT LIGHT, THE VINYLS LOOK BEAUTIFUL, AND EVEN UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT, STILL LOOKING IN GREAT CONDITION !!!! NOW I COULD HAVE GRADED THE AUDIO NEAR MINT, BUT I AM GOING TO GRADE ON THE SAFE SIDE DUE TO HOW COLLECTABLE THIS 1st ISSUE PRESS IS, AND GRADE THE AUDIO :: EX+/NEAR MINT .
