This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Andrew Hill “Point of Departure” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4167. Other than inaudible storage splotching, the playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster. The coated New York USA cover has ¼” wear on the bottom seam at the corners and ½” wear on the top seam, at the spine; small discoloration and stain spots at the top of the back slick. Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Eric Dolphy, Kenny Dorham, Joe Henderson, Richard Davis, and Tony Williams. $100.00.
