Up for auction is my 1994 first pressing edition of the Pink Floyds The Division Bell. It is a beautiful copy and one that contains the translucent blue vinyl record.
I have opened one of these first pressing gatefolds myself about 15 years after purchasing a first release pressing in 1994, and it is a just a cool looking record with great contrast of the gatefold and the blue vinyl.  What a treat for myself!!--I did not expect vinyl records to appreciate 1000% at a time especially when CD technology was dominating sonic sound recording and listening experiences. However, I am glad I did open it up as it was worth the joy, content and sense of nostalgia of history when doing so.... NO VINYL VIRGIN RECORD BREAK REMORSE HERE. I would recommend buying two and opening one up!!!
I am 100% certain it contains the blue vinyl as I made a small slit at the mouth of the album to verify its  authenticity when I purchased this collectable about 13 years ago. I have taken many photos of this gorgeous gatefold LP for one's critical examination. I doubt one will be able to notice from the photographs the exceedingly small razor thin slit (3 inches) in the shrink confined to the mouth of the opening side of the LP and only visible upon close visual inspection. There is a small breach of the seal about 1-2 millimeters in the area on the mid-lower back end and this is most likely not visible on photographs, so I clearly marked this in one of the picture illustrations. Please note there some creasing of the outer seal only, evident on pictures, but this IS NOT ON THE GATEFOLD. These small blemishes do not at all distract from the cover or from its sealed aesthetically pleasing presentation. The Gatefold Would Rate Mint(-) or Near Mint.   However, if this is a concern to you, please reach out for more photos or a video illustration. I am a discriminating collector, and I found it this specimen acceptable for my high-grade collection. I took the liberty to add some photos of my past successful auctions.
Overall, a beautiful first pressing copy rendition of an original 1994 Division Bell.... of this last Pink FLOYD STUDIO ALBUM!!! with the stunning translucent blue vinyl record.
