Up for auction is the Japanese first press issue of Duran Duran's album Rio (CAT # EMS-91037) with original poster!
Record jacket condition is EX- (almost mint condition) Vinyl condition is Mint. Obi condition is VG to VG+ - there is some light foxing on the rear of the obi and a small brown stain on the liner underneath the obi.. Liner notes condition is VG - there is some light foxing on the inside of the insert and on the back. Poster condition is NM+ - I gave it that condition solely based on this one minor speck of blue near the top - other than that, it's in immaculate condition.
You may be wondering what "foxing" is.  Foxing is an age-related process of deterioration that causes spots and browning on old paper documents such as books, postage stamps, old paper money and certificates. The name may derive from the fox-like reddish-brown color of the stains, caused by the rust chemical ferric oxide which may be involved. Paper so affected is said to be "foxed".

U.S. packages are sent via USPS Media Mail - $6 for the first item, $2 for any additional item.
International packages are sent via USPS First Class Airmail: - 12" / LP = $30 for the first item, $8 for any additional 12" vinyl. - VHD = $30 for the first item, $30 for any additional VHD. - VHS = $30 for the first item, $8 for any additional VHS. - LD = $30 for the first item, $10 for any additional LD - 7" / cassette tape = $20 for the first item, $5 for any additional item
Additional information for international bidders: any additional import duties, taxes, and charges are NOT included in the item price or shipping cost.  These charges are your (the buyer's) responsibility.
