Beautiful copy of the original 1966 pressing of Kenny Burrell’s wonderful Christmas LP on Cadet LPS-779. This is Burrell in his golden period, at his absolutely best. A great Christmas record, but even more a great, great jazz guitar record in general. And the stereo version completely blows the mono away, with so much dimension and space… and this copy is just lovely. The disc is very nearly pristine and plays completely flawlessly and just beautifully. Not a single tiny tick or even light crackle anywhere. There are a couple of entirely superficial scuffs but barely. They certainly don’t affect the play in the least. The cover has some wear about it, with rubbed corners, ringwear, and fraying upper and lower edges. No seam splits or creases or marks. Still quite nice but not as nice as the wonderful disc. The rare original Cadet inner sleeve is even still included. This is a truly lovely original copy, hard to beat.
