Scorpions 2 LP Lot: Love At First Sting & Blackout Vinyl LP Record Heavy Metal
record grade: high VG+ for both sleeve grade: VG+ for both
Love at First Sting is the RCA Music Club edition.
The surfaces of both records are very clean with just very slight sleeve marks visible under bright light. Many would grade them EX.
The sleeves are both VG+ with an assortment of small imperfections I will describe below:
Love At First Sting: the cover has very light ring wear, a small notch in the top corner of the spine, some fraying at the bottom right corner (along with a couple pinprick size tears of the cover slick in that same area), a slight bend on the back cover where the cover slick is glued to the seam along the top edge, light corner wear, and light general wear. The custom inner sleeve has the usual seam splits and a corner crease.
Blackout: the cover has very light ring wear, a couple small corner bumps, and light creasing along edges and corners. The custom inner sleeve has the usual seam splits along with a small tear.
Please examine photos carefully.

I grade LPs based on a conservative interpretation of the Goldmine standard. This means that a VG+ record is in very nice shape and should have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. A record with sustained surface noise will be at best a VG. All records are play-graded since not all surface noise can be detected visually. All records are shipped in new Whiplash mailers with cardboard backing with the sleeved record outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits.
Below is more thorough info on my grading system:
NM: Surfaces essentially look new. This is the highest rating I give used records.
VG+: Very nice shape. May have a few stray very light hairlines and/or light paper scuffs visible under bright light. Will have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. No feelable marks.
VG: Has hairlines and/or paper scuffs and has audible surface noise particularly between songs and during quieter passages.
G+: Has more pronounced hairlines and paper scuffs and may have a few small feelable marks, but still no skips.
