The VG record plays with light surface noise audible duringquieter passages and between tracks. Visually, there are some light marks andlight hairlines visible on the record, but nothing too deep. It's been VPI cleanedand is thoroughly enjoyable if you don't mind a bit of a light crackle.
The jacket has significant edge, spine, and corner wear withsome areas on the corners worn to the cardboard (see pictures). There is alsolight creasing, light ring wear, light shelf wear, etc. Please see pictures toget a better idea of the condition of the cover. Note the crackling of thecover slick along the spine.

I grade LPs based on a conservative interpretation of the Goldmine standard. This means that a VG+ record is in very nice shape and should have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. A record with sustained surface noise will be at best a VG. All records are play-graded since not all surface noise can be detected visually. All records are shipped in new Whiplash mailers with cardboard backing with the sleeved record outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits.

NM: Surfaces essentially look new. This is the highest rating I give used records.
VG+: Very nice shape. May have a few stray very light hairlines and/or light paper scuffs visible under bright light. Will have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. No feelable marks.
VG: Has hairlines and/or paper scuffs and has audible surface noise particularly between songs and during quieter passages.
G+: Has more pronounced hairlines and paper scuffs and may have a few small feelable marks, but still no skips.
