After a lifetime of collecting vinyl I am now downsizing radically. Please see all my other albums and singles for sale.
I bought these a long time ago from a person who said they had never been played. (I have a full set of originals anyhow.) I looked at each vinyl album, saw not a scratch nor any spindle wear, all in mint condition, put them back in their sleeves and back in their blue box. That is where they have stayed until I got them out again to photograph them for sale. In order to do so I removed each album from its sleeve and again looked at them in bright light: not a scratch, spindle wear, all in mint condition. As are nearly all the sleeves. With two exceptions, both photoed. Help! has a very small rub split to the top edge (no idea how that's occurred. And Abbey Road has creasing to the front of the sleeve, that occurred in manufacture. Annoying, but I didn't return them, being so pleased at the condition of the vinyls themselves.
Two other things about the records. First, they come with the original inserts when there was one. So, Sgt. Peppers has the card of stuff and the White album has the large poster with lyrics and the 4 photographs. All these are in unused condition. Second, because these are late 70's albums, and not original 60's albums, until the Apple label albums came about - and these are indeed on Apple (see photo) - all the Parlophone labels are the later black type, not the black and yellow originals.
The blue box is in excellent condition, the gilt bright. There is a small area of rubbing to the top edge (photoed) and slight bubbling of the surface blue textured card, which I suspect goes back to the point of manufacture. Certainly it was like that when I bought them all those years ago.
BTW, I have the singles and EP's sets as well, and will be listing them in due course. Thanks for reading. Happy bidding.
