This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Sam Rivers “Fuchsia Swing Song” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4184. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; however, there are three pressing defects, two of which (Side 1, Track 1 and Side 2, track 3) are inaudible; the third (Side 1, Track 2) is very lightly audible and not at all distracting. The coated New York 23 cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; ½” bump at the top left and bottom right corners. Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Jaki Byard, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams. $200.00
