This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Sam Rivers “Contours” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4206. The playing surface is in new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once, if at all. Similarly, the coated New York 23 cover is in extraordinary as-new condition – bright, clean, and immaculate in every respect – with sharp corners and unworn seams. Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Joe Chambers. $250.00.
