This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”- pressing of Kenny Burrell “Introducing” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 1523. The flat rim playing surface is in excellent condition; some light tics at the beginning of the first track on Side 2. The coated frame Lexington Ave. cover is in excellent condition - amazingly bright and clean throughout – with light superficial rubbing along the top and bottom seams; 2” superficial wear on the bottom of the spine; ½” bump/wear at the bottom left corner; unusual fabricating defect creates a shallow horizontal bulge at the bottom left corner of the front. Personnel include Tommy Flanagan, Paul Chambers, and Kenny Clarke. $400.00.
