This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Thad Jones “Detroit-New York Junction” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 1513. The flat rim playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster; a few light tics at the beginning of the first track on Side 1; perhaps a random non-repetitive tic elsewhere. The coated reverse-frame Lexington Ave. cover is in extraordinary condition – clean, bright, and immaculate throughout, with just very slight wear at the bottom right corner.
