With the Beatles LP on the yellow Parlophone label with the misprint 'You really gotta hold on me' on the back cover.
The cover, inner sleeve and vinyl are all in very good condition. The back of the cover is a little grubby as it's unlaminated. The vinyl has some hairlines that produce crackling between songs and at the quiet parts. The inner sleeve is the advert emitex sleeve.
The matrix numbers are XEX 447-7N & XEX 448-7N.
All records are posted in professional record mailers. I
will combine postage for multiple items. I don’t make any money on postage and packaging;
I charge what it costs me.
* * Overseas buyers : I've put a blanket postage charge on the listing, upon winning
the item, message me before paying and I will send you a final invoice upon
discussing postage options * *
Now for the serious bit...
If you are in any way unhappy with the item I will endeavour to put it right,
if that's not possible I will accept the item back in the same condition and
issue a full refund (not including postage).
All the pictures I show are of the actual item, not stock photos and I
describe every item as accurately as possible. Before bidding/buying, please read the details
of this listing (payment options/terms, p&p costs etc...). If you have any questions, please
get in touch before purchase/the end of the auction to prevent unnecessary
returns.
Thank you for looking. Please check out my other items.
Please note: Most of the records I sell are 25 to 50 years old. I do not play
grade every record. Many are visually graded. This is usually sufficient as 99%
of the time if it looks clean it will play clean. However even those that are
played may play differently from one record player to another. So sometimes
these old pieces of plastic may have a crackle or pop in them somewhere.
I use the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide to grade my records.
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
As well as the above grades, Near Mint is often used as well; this is really for a record that appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, + and - are also often added to the grading. In addition to the basic grading, any individual faults should be noted separately such as if an otherwise Excellent cover has a name written on it, or a 7" single is missing its original centre etc.
