Rare CHAIN OF STRENGTH - "What Holds Us Apart" 7" on white vinyl (220 pressed on white, hand numbered 80/1500) on First Strike Records from Wigan, UK. Vinyl and sleeve are both in excellent condition. If you know the band, you'll known how special this record is.  One of the most influential and amazing hardcore bands of all time. OF ALL TIME. If you don't know CHAIN, where have you been? Quasi-straight edge hardcore band from California, releasing records on Foundation, Revelation, Mindpower and First Strike Records.
"What Holds Us Apart" is their second, more introspective release, featuring 4 songs of awesome melodic hardcore. Vinyl is in very good condition on both sides as is the artwork. Includes a little note from the label saying "sorry about the crummy artwork...".
If you've only heard the remastered/ruined version that Revelation re-released on LP and CD you need to hear this one! Chris Bratton, the drummer, said he wasn't to happy with the mix on this as there's too much reverb and Curtis, the singer, loses his vocals in the mix. That's what makes this so much better - the vocals are fighting with the guitars to be heard.
SIDE ONE: 1. Too Deep Until Now 2. The Space Between
SIDE TWO: 1. Hurts To Ask 2. Through These Eyes

SMALL PRINT:
All records have been kept in plastic sleeves in a smoke free house. I've done my best to accurately describe the condition of the records - but if you've got questions, ask them before you bid.
Will combine items to reduce shipping costs.
If you're buying a rare hardcore record and it goes over £50 you'll have to pay for the Airsure/Special Delivery unless: a) I know you and you're legit, b) you want to collect the record in person at a HC show/Mongrel Fest, c) you have a ridiculously high eBay feedback score/someone I know vouches for you, d) you want the record punk posting from a HC show/Mongrel Fest. This is because neither of us wants to be disappointed, nor do we want important pieces of HC history to get damaged or disappear.
