EMI - Starline SRS 5071 Stereo 1971 Recording. Made in England.

This is a fabulous copy and is an original 1st pressing with the blue label and matrix no's SRS 5071 A-1/B-3

Complete with the original textured white cover with Art Work by Nick Mason, printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.

Tracks are :-

Side One - Arnold Layne, Interstellar Overdrive, See Emily Play, Remember A Day, Paintbox.

Side Two - Julia Dream, Careful With That Axe Eugine, Cirrus Minor, The Nile Song, Siding My Time, Bike.

Record condition:  An absolutely fabulous example. The vinyl gleams with a jet black gloss and looks as if it has just come off the factory pressing machine, still warm and freshly made. I have had to hold the disc under a table lamp to be able to study the condition of the actual vinyl. There are a couple of very feint surface marks only visible under the lamp. I have played both sides and listened to every track and I can't hear any undue noise or anything detrimental to the superb sound from a fabulous original vinyl record. So much warmer and realistic than the same album on a modern CD. I would have loved to have graded this as "Mint", but there are a couple of marks, so I will grade it as excellent +

Label condition:  Original blue label with just very faint traces of spindle marks. The spindle hole on both sides is incredibly clean and undamaged.

Outer Sleeve/Cover: Stunning Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., Textured white sleeve with artwork by Nick Mason in fabulous condition. The sleeve is like new front and back. There isn't a mark on it, no discolouration, no fingermarks or stains, it really is probably one of the best copies available. The outer edge with the printing is like new. The inner opening edge has no wear, feathering or signs of ever being used. A stunning  sleeve which will appeal to the most fastidious of collectors.  

Inner Sleeve: Original EMI white paper shaped inner sleeve in as new condition.

Summary:  An absolutely fabulous LP in amazing original condition that can only appreciate in value over the years.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
