Up for auction is one of Nautilus Recordings' sought-after half-speed recordings, the classic 1979 LP of The Cars' "Candy-O."
FIRST OF, "Candy-O" is one, nearly perfect pop/rock LP, not to mention a splendid sophomore effort by this Boston quartet, led by the frontman Ric Ocasek.  This recording is made to be blasted, and played LOUD on your home hi-fi or while driving through city streets on your 1981 Firebird Trans Am!  The lead track "Let's Go" gets things going to a rollicking sing-along fun time.  The closing track on side two, "Dangerous Type" is one of those great pop tracks that should have been a hit single.  This Nautilus pressing is a joy to listen to, rivaled only by the more recent MoFi pressing.

This LP is in OPENED, EXCELLENT-/VERY GOOD+ Condition.  The vinyl disc is in EXCELLENT-/VERY GOOD+ condition (a solid 7/8), and the album sleeve is in VERY GOOD++ condition with relatively minor edge and surface creases. Includes all original inserts.
