Shelter SW-8914, Red label early pressing with textured cover and lyric sheet. Still his only LP, songs from it have been covered by many artists for their own performances, including Jimmy Buffett (“Ballad of Spider John”), Jimmie Dale Gilmore (“Goodbye Old Missoula”), both Waylon Jennings and Shawn Colvin (“Satin Sheets”), both America and Captain & Tennille (“Muskrat Love/Candlelight”), Jerry Jeff Walker (“Northeast Texas Women”), New Grass Revival (“Watermelon Man”), Widespread Panic ("Geraldine and the Honeybee" and "Wishbone" ).
