Beatles Alpha Omega Rare 4 LP Box Set 1972 ATRBH  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  Very rare 4 LP box set with a ton of tunes on it released in 1972. Original USA pressing Very nice copy. In January 1973, two Beatles box sets appeared in the United States of which this is volume 1.  These four-LP collections were advertised on TV and radio stations in the Midwest and were sold  by mail order. Capitol Records soon countered by putting out two official Beatles anthologies, The Beatles 1962-1966 (US: Apple SKBO 3403) and The Beatles 1967-1970 (US: Apple SKBO 3404) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  The vinyl is excellent to near mint condition.  The box cover is at least VG+. Has about a four inch split seam on the bottom half of the box on the back right hand corner. A few areas of minor wear other than that. Small tear in the top edge of the box.
