CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY

AUDIO EX/EXCELLENT(+); this has been completely play graded from start to finish at volume and both sides played through wonderfully well with a bright, clear and crisp audio and just very occasional light, isolated, unintrusive static. Just a couple of pops across the whole record. The record delivered fantastic audio and was a real pleasure to listen to.
VINYL (VISUAL): EX/EXCELLENT(-); the vinyl looks great overall with just some very light and superficial bag removal type hairlines under bright light. The record would appear to be very well cared for over the years. Both labels look great with just some light signs of age and use.
SLEEVE: EX/EXCELLENT(-); overall, the sleeve looks very nice. Some light laminate creasing + some very light signs of storage. Straight firm spine with all text clearly legible.

I reserve the right to cancel bids from buyers whose previous feedback ratings are poor.

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.

Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I WILL ALWAYS COMBINE SHIPPING FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES AND OFFER A DISCOUNT. PLEASE ASK FOR A QUOTE IN ADVANCE.

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

Shipping rates quoted are valid up to a total sale value of £2500 within the UK and £250 for overseas buyers. Overseas buyers please note that any item or items with a total value of £20 or more must be sent by International Signed For with no exceptions at the rate shown. Please ask for a quote or wait for my invoice if the final sale is more than £250.

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS: Please note that for overseas orders from outside the EU I am obliged to complete a customs declaration and must enter the true value of the package's contents on the declaration. It is the BUYER'S responsibility to ensure that all import duties are known and paid.

Please send me a message if anything is unclear and I will be happy to help.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced. POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
