I use the following criteria to grade my records and try to be as conservative as possible when grading in order for you to be satisfied with your purchase.

SS     Still sealed

NM   (Near Mint) My highest grade for a nearly perfect record.

VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus) Looks close to new with only superficial signs of wear.

VG+  (Very Good Plus) Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs/light scratches but

          a record that has been handled with care.

VG    (Very Good) Surface scuffs and marks which may possibly result in light surface noise here and there during quiet     

          passages.

VG-   (Very Good Minus) Record may have scratches/significant wear and noticeable surface noise.

COVER OR LABEL GRADING 

SS       Still Sealed

NM     Like New

VG      May have light corner or surface wear or a sticker

VG-    Corners may have wear and there may be some light seam splitting

G         Heavy seam splitting or wear
